Thanks to those who participated in BRONCO HOOPS last year, as well as in my camp at the high school in June. We were able to teach the fundamentals of the game in a competitive and fun environment. It was great to see the players improve and have a great time doing it. I am excited to see how they develop as they continue to grow and work on their game.
Coming off the most successful season in Barrington Basketball History, I am excited to continue to continue to endorse BRONCO HOOPS as the OFFICIAL FEEDER to Barrington High School. BRONCO HOOPS aligns with our highly successful high school program, in both philosophy and teaching. Bronco Hoops is run by Chris Keehn, my former assistant of 16 years, a former college basketball player, well versed in instructing basketball, whom I trust implicitly. (Read Chris' bio in the ABOUT BRONCO HOOPS tab.) BRONCO HOOPS is designed for boy's entering grades 4rd - 8th and does not require prior travel or AAU team experience.
This is a great chance for your son to learn the game and prepare for future success on the court at the high school level. BRONCO HOOPS embraces the core beliefs we have always held - skill development for the players on the court and character development for them off the court. BRONCO HOOPS allows me to be involved as an advisor, giving structure and guidance to the coaches and providing a philosophy that will align with our high school program. I believe this is paramount to being a TRUE FEEDER. BRONCO HOOPS is committed to providing quality coaches, who are able to teach the game, while creating an environment of fun, as well as supporting the values and character development that we know the parents are teaching. Simply put - BRONCO HOOPS is committed to developing better people AND better basketball players - providing a smooth and seamless transition to the high school program...something no other program provides.
I realize that you have many choices for basketball. BRONCO HOOPS, is committed to offering the best experience, with a positive and encouraging environment to help the players develop confidence and the skills necessary for future success. AS THE feeder program to the high school, we also hope to instill a sense of community, where the players take pride in being a member of the Barrington Bronco Hoops family, starting with their involvement here, extending through their high school years, and hopefully, culminating with their participation on the varsity team at BHS, and beyond.
